Publications
Visibility for Awareness Raising
In the
line of its tradition and spirit of vividness and colourfulness,
Sharek's brochures, booklets and other publications were made attractive
for youth in terms of content and design. Many colourful designs were
produced, with
vibrant pictures of project activities. Most of Sharek's publications in
2006 have been realized through one of the core programs Partners,
Bridges and A Step Forward. Sharek has produced 18
booklets on topics related to employment and the labour market under the
title “Series of Distinction and Success”. It has published two
researches; “Matching Higher Education Graduates with Market Needs in
the West Bank and Gaza Strip” in cooperation with the Palestinian
Economic Policy Research Institute (MAS) and “Youth and Youth
Institutions, Structures, Projects and Clubs”.
Sharek produced four training manuals; one for awareness
raising workshops of the
elections campaign and three for the Partners trainings on
capacity building of youth organizations. Sharek also published a total
of 6 newsletters; five on the different components of the youth
enrichment incubators program Bridges and one on the A
Step Forward program. Most of the publications are available online
(www.sharek.ps
and
www.pycc.ps) and brochures, booklets and newsletters can be obtained
in many of Sharek’s centres.
